Shame on you being a teacher, being human and being Gay!
We Filipinos can never ever afford to say something against a suffering country, instead we pray, I strongly believe that you do not represent your country your'e just a representative of shame to your country, I know that there are millions of God fearing and respectful people in your country please do not drag them down with your idiocy, it's never to late to change but you will never change just teach the right thing to your students.
    God BLESS you!

  3. Oh, please....tired of these online bashing over people who don't make sense. Bakit nyo papatulan yan? You're jz wasting your time to these kind of people. wala rin namang mangyayari. Pagtulungan nyo man, will it change his mind? Probably not. Will it affect him? Not sure....so instead of getting worked up about what he said, ignore it. Do what you need to do -- things that are more beneficial rather than ranting and bashing these people back because of what they said.

    1. you may call it bashing, others call it expressing their feelings. but to answer your question .. will it affect her? (it's her not him) .. well, hell, yeah! Very sure. this might even cost her job. what do you think? now, what do we gain? - para hindi tularan ng iba, that people should be more sensitive next time. Pinoy ka, hindi ka ba man lang naapektuhan lahit katiting? here's a link - you might wana watch it again .. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/focus/11/09/13/ted-failon-recalls-yolandas-wrath-tacloban

    2. oo nga! Hindi ka man lang ba naapektuhan kahit pano? Hindi mo ba gustong turuan ng leksyon? Insensitive people should be taught a lesson. (or probably because you are too caught up in your own world to care about the people she's bashing. Just a random thought) Nakaka-devastate yung situation sa mga sinalanta ni Yolanda. And while we can't do much to help those who were affected by the typhoon, we can at least teach insensitive people a lesson on respect. Kaya... let me say this back to you: do something more than telling people who care to ignore such insensitive remarks. Thank you

    3. Hi Avril. I believe most of us who irate by the whole situation are not just bashing this person. I do not think hating her will do any good. I agree with that. Some of us have taken actions such as writing to the Vancouver Board of education to report such malicious statements. I personally have been affected by this .. Not juts because I am Filipino but on how insensitive and inhumane this comment is. Iknow we all have our differences whether it is in our opinions.. Our way of living. Heck we don't have to like each other but we could be at least compassionate and emphatic about the this. I have family back in Manila and It is devastating to hear that my believed country has gone through another disaster. It is nerve racking not hearing from my folks for hours not knowing they are still alive. So forgive me if most of us are more than affected by this.. That we are ranting about this. Also to wish that someone goes through this and for acountry to be wiped out i am just appalled. No one should think that this is Gods work andGods way of cleaning house. I believe that Philippines is a country of resilient resourceful God fearing ppl who are extremely blessed knowing through it all.. We are still standing and through it all.. God has not forsaken us. So Avril, before we all make assumptions and conclusions to why ppl voice out their feelings and their disgust over this..maybe we should think twice about it. I do condone her statement.. I do not appreciate her comments in a very untimely manner.. I do not hate this person. I do not however support her. I do know that hate breeds cancer.. That God is just and faithful ..

    4. Hey girl, it's not totally bashing, bullying or whatsoever it's just a mere act of knocking some sense out of such people like for instance in my case I got some family and relatives who had been totally affected by the devastation that the storm had brought in to TACLOBAN all our houses there a pinned down to the ground and crush into pieces....Seeing or hearing such comments really doesn't help a lot from what we are going through specially that up to this time we are still lost to where to find some of our relatives....so from there you think we don't have the right to be in this predicament from what she is trying to express??? again we don't bash or give comments to this kind of thing if it weren't for any reason at all....just a piece of my weary thought let us just be from what we feel and will let other feel what they have as long as they won't give any negative vibes in some issues like this.... OKEY!!! and by the way are you pure-blooded pinoy??? just askin'.

Bakit mo papatulan? You're jz wasting your time to us good people. wala rin namang mangyayari. will it change our mind? Probably not. Will it affect us? Not sure....so instead of getting worked up about what we said, ignore it. lay down or talk to the wall..Do what you need to do -- things that are more beneficial rather than ranting and bashing these people back because of what we do.

Am I right? that's what you said..
      Ahaha... just a thought =P

    6. Maybe you're her friend that's why you're defending her.

  4. May GOD (whoever her her god is) pity her soul... I am also a teacher and its sad to see people like her (from a country that promotes "racial equality") post such comments like this. We Filipinos are kind and polite. But, we could be as mean as those who are against us. As for you Jax Cote FUCK YOU BITCH!

Mr. L is referring to the comments that was posted by our fellow Filipinos... yung mga pagmumura daw kasi ibig sabihin parang pinoprove daw po natin na totoo nga ang sinabi ni Jax Cote... instead yung gagwin daw po natin eh mag file ng complaint sa office na associated si Jax Cote. at yung huling sentence sabi daw nya na idelte yung page para po wlang counter measure or something (parang ganun narin yun) na maibato against din po satin (yung pagmumura)... sana po maliwanagan po kayo Mr Eugene Cruz!

  8. have mercy on your soul you stupid sinner. You should be fired out from the teaching profession. Jesus is the greatest teacher of all time and you are not even a bit like Him. You condemn and you shall also be condemned. What a pity! Instead of one ignorant and stupid person like you, you multiply more ignorant and stupid people by teaching your ignorant and stupid ideas. I APPEAL THAT YOU SHOULD BE FIRED FROM YOUR JOB. YOU ARE A DANGEROUS BREED. IGNORAMUS!

  9. You are just another lost soul. A teacher that is ignorant of the words Respect, Love and GOD. I wonder how and what you teach to your students since you don't have good manners and right conduct. What will they learn from you.. I pity them. You should be on the plane flying 30,000 feet above the ground and try look down coz you can't see even a dust and you're not even a dust too. You know why? Because YOU ARE NOTHING!!!! You don't have a heart the feels the pain that the FILIPINOS have right now. Even animals have a heart and therefore, you don't exist because you don't have a human or an animal heart. If you want to get famous, jump from the plane straight down to your grave coz that's where you belong. AMEN.

  11. You know what Jax Cote, hope you're the first one who'll get cleaned up.I don't understand how you bacame a teacher. A Filipino teacher would have been better to take place teaching those poor children. You're just a loser and trying to draw attention. Hope Trenton University gets rid of you and get someone who could teach children manners.

  20. To Jax Cote:

Hi Jaz, I am Leslie and I came from one of the typhoon affected area in the Philippines. A midst everything that happened all we need right now are prayers and supports coming from people who are kind-hearted. I believe you are not among them. Please do not judge us according to what you think we are. We are good people just like any other human being across the world. It is very easy and straight for you to post your comment on what happened to us, maybe because you are not in our situation. If you have seen your own countrymen crying, dying I don't know what you would feel. If you could not say any better words for us, then I'm begging you do not increase the pain and ache we are feeling now. Good for you that at this moment in time, perhaps your happy doing things without having to experience any of these. I just want you to know that my heart is breaking for what happened to my fellow countrymen. So devastating to see that people died , most of them lost their families and loved ones because of the typhoon. My heart weeps seeing hundreds of people without shelter, food, water and any place to go. We do not even know where to begin. We don't even know what life has in store for us. No water, no food, no shelter from the pouring, no comfortable hospitals to nurse the wounded and injured. Have you ever witnessed a kid whose mouth was bubbling and was dying from getting drowned? A father embracing his daughter trying to protect her from falling objects but did not make it? ..I hope sooner or later you would realize how hard it is for us.

  21. I believe she is not racist, I believe she is a product of religion that believes God is still judging people and the typhoon is from God which is not true. God judge the sins of the whole world in the body of Jesus Christ 2,000 yrs ago. I'm not blaming her I blame religion. Jesus Loves you Jax Cote.

  26. my fellow filipinos: i know in these hard times, our hope, our spirits and strength are tested. It is easy to give in to anger when one is frustrated, but i know we are better than this. one person’s opinion does not matter. one hundred opinions do not matter. one thousand voices will be muted because when we shout, our voice will be the only ones heard and that is all that matters. but i only ask of you that when you do shout, it is not in retaliation but in encouraging one another. it makes me sad to see us hurt and because of our hurt we speak as though we are willing to justify in compromising our values and throw words of disparagements at anyone, whether they are at fault or not.
we know who we are and we do not need to prove it. let them say whatever it is they need to say. we've faced harder obstacles than this as a nation. we've given up lives, as well as lives taken from us. yet we've risen from it. now, standing even stronger than ever before. let us not forget who we are. we are a country built on values that cannot be compromised. and in spite of this all, we will once again rise and whoever thinks that we deserve to stay down will one day be silenced and they will look at us in awe, because we truly are an amazing race (if you pardon the pun). Because the true strength of a filipino is his/her own heart and that can never be taken from us.

  27. @Jax - I'm an Indian married to a kabayan, I really feel sorry for what you've experienced but all fingers are never same. Filipinos are one of the most hardworking, honest and very much loving caring and friendly people you would ever find in this world. If ever you be friend with a good Filipino I bet you will regret a d feel guilty about the harsh words you've used for them and you won't be able to forgive yourself. Its good that you apologized. Good bless you

  28. a person like that shouldn't be condemned. she needs understanding. baka di sya tinuruan ng parents nya ng manners. di nya maintindihan ang mga harsh words na sinasabi nya. it's just so sad na teacher sya. kawawa nman mga kids na tinuturuan nya kasi sya mismo narrow minded. ipag dasal nalang po natin sya na nawa e maunawaan nya na mali at hindi tama ang sinabi at post nya... may god help clean your mind jax. I feel so sorry for you.
